"Recently my husband and I were touring New Zealand and decided that we wanted to rest and settle down for a while in Napier. We found a great little motel and wonderful Maraenui Golf Club right across the road. After making arrangements we proceeded to enjoy ourselves at this great spot! The golf course was more than we expected and the play is very challenging. Large trees line the scenic fairways and of course, my husband had to play most of them! Seriously, the golf course was lovely and in very good condition. The greens were remarkable for their trueness. The clubhouse was very user friendly with a very nice ladies room with foot baths and showers. My husband said the same for the mens locker room too. The staff were wonderful, from the bar to the catering department. The office staff were most helpful and the pro staff can't do enough for you!

All in all we would highly recommend this golf centre to anyone wanting a beautiful, friendly course to play on. I would be remiss to exclude the extremely helpful members of this course. New Zealand lives up to it's reputation for wonderful people, these members would move heaven and earth for you.
